Privacy and cookie statement
Last updated: 5 November 2026
SolidVisual respects your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process when you visit our website or contact us, why we do so, and what rights you have.
1. Who are we?
SolidVisual (Solid Visual), De Cranestraat 66, 4301 MK Zierikzee, the Netherlands. Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 94654476. We are responsible for processing your personal data as described in this statement.
Questions about privacy? Email info@solidvisual.co.
2. What data do we process and why?
Quote request
When you fill in the quote form, we receive your name, company name, email address, phone number, details about your project (such as project type, services, number of images and deadline), your description and any files or links you include. We use this data to assess your request, contact you and prepare a tailored quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Online consultation
When you book a consultation via the calendar on our website, our scheduling service Cal.com processes your name, email address, the chosen time and any other information you provide. We use this to schedule and hold the meeting.
Contact by email
When you email us, we use your email address and the content of your message to answer your question.
Clients
If you become a client, we also use your data to carry out the assignment, to invoice and to comply with our legal (tax) obligations.
Website visits
With every visit, our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the website secure and working properly. Only with your consent do we use Google Analytics to measure how the website is used (see section 4).
3. Who do we share data with?
We never sell your data. We do use service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Netlify — hosting of the website, the quote form and storage of attachments.
- Google — Google Workspace for our email; Google Analytics (only with consent); Google Fonts for the website's typeface.
- Cal.com — the calendar for booking an online consultation.
- Vimeo and Panoee — the video on the homepage and the interactive 360° tour. These services may process their own data and cookies when played.
Some of these parties are located outside the European Economic Area, such as in the United States. In that case, transfers take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We may also disclose data where required by law.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
On your first visit, a cookie banner asks for your choice. You can change it at any time via .
- Necessary (always active) — we remember your language and cookie choice in your browser's storage. No consent is required for this.
- Statistics (only with consent) — Google Analytics places cookies (such as
_ga) to measure anonymously how visitors use the website, for example which pages are viewed and how often a quote is requested. These cookies are kept for up to 2 years. - Marketing (only with consent) — Google uses this data to measure and improve the results of our advertising.
Without your consent, we do not load Google Analytics and no statistics or marketing cookies are placed. Please note: the embedded video (Vimeo) and 360° tour (Panoee) are third-party services that may use their own cookies; their own privacy policies apply.
5. How long do we keep your data?
- Quote requests and related files that do not lead to an assignment: up to 2 years after the last contact.
- Client data: as long as needed for the assignment, and afterwards as long as the law requires (the Dutch tax retention period is 7 years).
- Statistics: according to the retention period set in Google Analytics.
6. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS), and uploaded files can only be opened via a personal, secured download link.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@solidvisual.co; we will respond within one month.
Not satisfied with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
8. Changes
We may update this statement if our website or services change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
