Artist impressions & 3D visualisation

Artist impressions for developments that sell

An artist impression shows buyers, municipalities and investors what your project will look like, long before construction starts. We create photorealistic exterior and interior artist impressions for developers, architects and agents in the Netherlands, Belgium and across Europe.

What is an artist impression?

An artist impression is a photorealistic image of a building or space that does not exist yet. We build the project in 3D from your drawings and material choices, then refine the light, materials, planting and atmosphere until the image cannot be told apart from a photograph.

A drawing shows how something is built. An artist impression shows what it is like to live there: the light in the living room, the facade at sunset, the view from the balcony. That is what buyers decide on.

02

What do you use an artist impression for?

  • Off-plan sales. For your brochure, sales website, property portals and social media, so buyers can choose before anything is built.
  • Tenders and area development. Show the jury your plan in a single image.
  • Permits and consultation. Show the municipality and neighbours how the project fits in.
  • Investors and lenders. A plan on paper becomes a project they can picture.
  • Site hoardings. We deliver in high resolution, so images stay sharp even at large print sizes.
03

Exterior and interior

We create artist impressions of facades and street views, by day, dusk or night and in any season. And of interiors: living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, furnished for the buyers you want to reach. For larger projects we also create aerial views. Want motion or a walkthrough? From the same model we make a walkthrough film or a 360° virtual tour.

04

What we visualise

  • Exterior renders. Facades, street views and gardens.
  • Interior renders. Fully furnished spaces, styled for your target group.
  • Aerial views and area development. Overview images for tenders, master plans and consultation.
  • Commercial property. Industrial buildings, offices and commercial spaces.
  • Design proposals. For architects and designers presenting a concept to their client.

Built on construction knowledge

Beau Jelle Tuijnman founded SolidVisual after an all-round construction degree and work in site management. We read drawings the way they are meant and know what a window frame, roof edge or junction looks like in reality. That is why our images hold up when an architect or contractor looks closely.

From the same 3D model we also create a walkthrough film or 360° virtual tour, so all your sales material looks the same.

06

How we work

You send what you have: drawings, floor plans, references or a materials list. We start with a moodboard and the camera angles, so we agree on the direction before we start producing. Then we finish the images. Your feedback goes into two fixed revision rounds, and delivery usually takes about two weeks. Read more about our process on about us.

Price indication

An interior artist impression costs from €375 and an exterior from €475 per image (excl. VAT). The pricing page explains what drives the cost.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an artist impression, a 3D visualisation and a render?

There is no real difference: all three are photorealistic images of something that has not been built yet. "Render" is the technical term and "3D visualisation" the general name. In real estate it is usually called an artist impression.

How much does an artist impression cost?

An interior artist impression costs from €375 and an exterior from €475 per image, excluding VAT. The price depends on how complex the project is, how much of the surroundings is in view and how many images you order. Our pricing page has a full overview.

What do I need to get an artist impression made?

Mainly drawings or floor plans. Elevations, a materials list or reference images help too. You do not need to supply a 3D model, but if your architect has one, we are happy to use it.

How long does it take?

About two weeks on average, including moodboard, production and two revision rounds. For larger series or rush jobs we agree a schedule up front.

Can I use the images everywhere?

Yes. You receive high-resolution images and can use them in all your marketing and communication: brochures, websites, property portals, social media, hoardings and presentations.

Do you work outside the Netherlands?

Yes. We work for developers and architects in the Netherlands, Belgium and the rest of Europe. Everything runs online, so the location of your project does not matter.
